1st Sunday Fly-out, April 4th

The weather was threatening Saturday, but it was a perfect Sunday morning. Two aircraft choose to stay close to Newark. The original destination was Portsmouth Oh. I waited until 10:30, almost 11 o’clock and no members? So Carl Oblinger (chapter photographer) asks: Are we going to fly? I said yes, it’s too beautiful of a day. I asked Carl if he had been to Portsmouth with me and he said yes. I had already called flight services and knew we weren’t flying north. I ask him if he had ever been to Parkersburg WV. He said no, So . . . you got it, we flew to Parkersburg and had a great brunch. (23 min.) I might add, tailwind 🙂 Carl got some great pics, check them out. See you all at the airport.

Blue skies always,
