What a way to kick off our first spring fly-out. The weather really cooperated this day, sunny skies!
We staggered our departures from 10:00 – 10:30 am for Urbana Grimes brunch (on the field). After we all finished eating we needed a nice walk over to the B-17 museum to check out the progress on the old bird. The volunteers went out of their way to answer all our questions. A good time was had by all, and I hope this is an indication of the turn outs for the summer ahead. (pictures)
