March 4th Fly-out

Five aircraft and fourteen pilots and passengers departed Newark under clear skies for brunch at the popular restaurant the “Tin Goose” at Port Clinton Oh (Keller Field) on the Lake. The flight was awesome with visibility at 60 miles in some cases. I was told all landings were a “10”!

Yours truly wasn’t bad either. Food was great, conversations better. One of our pilots hadn’t been there (Keller Field) in 14 years!

Participants were:

Cirrus 20 – Bill Corbin, his son & grandson, and Charlie Rhoads.

Cessna 152 – Dick & Gaye Purdue

Piper 160 – Sam Huff, and Roy Hurt

Archer II – Larry Arnold, and two guests from Zanesville

Piper 235 – Rollie, Bob Erhard, and Carl Oblinger
