November Fly Out to Portsmouth

It was a great fall day for aviation with many colors still on the trees after the rain and wind. All pilots were pleasantly surprised that it was so smooth in route. We arrived with almost standing room only at “The Runway” Restaurant on the field. We all had good food and conversation. Several had not been there before, passengers, not our pilots. We have some veteran pilots in the 402. Was almost a record for planes and people on a fly out. Nine planes, 17 people:

Cirrus 20 – Bill/Erlene Corbin
Ken/Marie Hughes
Archer II – Larry/Valinda Arnold
“Easy” – Mike/Sarah Toomey
Cessna 152 – Bob Erhard
Cessna 152 – Dick Purdue
Twin Comanche – Carl Bradock, Charlie Rhoads
Funk – Roy Hurt
Champ – Sam Huff
Cherokee 235 – Rollie/Marie Bailey, Carl Oblinger

Best fly out all year. Let’s keep it rollin!!

Go on line to see some great pictures.
